1. What is Google review automation, and how does it work?

Google review automation simplifies the process of collecting reviews by automatically sending personalized image requests to your customers via email or text after an interaction. We do this by integrating into your existing systems and automating the review request process. It ensures consistent growth in your reviews without extra effort on your part.

2. Why are Google reviews important for my business?

Google reviews improve your online reputation, increase visibility in search results, build trust with potential customers, and help drive more traffic and sales to your business.

3. How quickly will I see results and how many reviews should I expect?

Many of our clients see an increase in their Google reviews within the first 30 days of using our service. The exact timing depends on the volume of customer interactions your business has.

Most users see anywhere from 10%-15% of their previous customer base leave a review during the review reactivation. If you have 1,000 previous customers in your CRM that might mean about 100-150 reviews in the first 4-6 weeks of working with us. Your new customers we expect to get 20-30% or more. However it can be over 50% that leave a review.

4. Is there a free trial available?

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial so you can experience the benefits of our platform before committing to a plan.

During the trial period, our service is free but any SMS or email usage charges will be billed directly to you.

5. Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, our plans are subscription-based with no long-term contracts. You can cancel anytime without penalties.

6. Do you keep bad reviews from Google?

No, we can’t block or filter reviews. That’s against Google’s policy. But we can help you proactively ask the right customers at the right time to maximize your chances of great reviews. We know that 99.9% of customers are happy, but the 0.01% are the ones that leave a review whether they are asked or not. We exist to make it easy to get reviews from all your happy customers! And, that helps to minimize their effect.

Businesses can lose their Google Business Profile forever for violating Googles policies. That can effect the business by thousands in revenue. There are other tools out their that do it, but it is risky. The customers that want to leave a bad review will just go directly to Google and leave a negative review so you're never fully safe.

A couple of negative reviews won't ruin your business, but getting your profile shut down permanently will.

7. Do you integrate with my CRM, and how do I know?

We integrate with most major CRMs, booking tools, and invoicing platforms. Including Jobber, Quickbooks Online, Housecall Pro, Workiz, Sweep & Go, Square, Zapier, and thousands more. If you’re not sure, you can search for your software here.

8. Is an onboarding call required?

Yes, just make an appointment. It only take about 30 minutes.

9. How long does it take to set up?

Most businesses are fully set up in around 30 minutes. We will connect your Google profile, connect your CRM, and upload your personalized image. That's it!

10. When do you bill and is it USD?

You're billed 14 days after you start your free trial then every month after that.

11. What is a personalized image review request?

This is huge! It gets your customer's attention and gives you the best chance of capturing a review, instead of just sending a boring text that gets ignored. We are able to send a photo of you or your team or work place, and auto-populate the customers name on the image. This will lead to more reviews than you think!

12. How do the pricing tiers differ?

Our pricing tiers are based on the number of new review requests you would like to send out each month.

So if you want to request up to 50 requests per month, that would be on the Starter plan. The Growth plan is 50-100 requests per month. The Pro plan is 100-300 requests per month.

All plans include a review reactivation at the beginning where we can reactivate your list of previous customers whether it's 100 previous customers or 3,000. Those are drip fed based on your recent review frequency. It is important to note that follow ups are also included in each plan. So on the lowest plan we request 50 reviews per month, and we will also follow up with those customers based on your follow up settings. Please let us know it there are any names you do not want to disturb.

13. Do you offer franchise/multi-location pricing?

We offer bundle pricing for multi-location or franchise businesses. Contact out team and we will tailor a plan that works for you.

14. How often do you ask my customers to leave a review?

We recommend 1 initial review request post service then 2 gentle reminders. However this can be turned up or down in your dashboard. We definitely do not constantly request reviews from all your customers every week or month. We only request reviews during a review reactivation or following a service.

15. How does this work with recurring services?

If you serve your customers every week and then every week they got a review request and follow ups, that would be overkill. We have a 30 day cool down period.

This means if we request a review from Molly and she goes through the follow ups and never leaves a review. We will not message her for 30 days. After 30 days if Molly is still an active customers and hasn't left a review after her next service she will be asked to leave a review again.

16. How does the review reactivation work?

We take your past customer list (minus any you deem DND-Do Not Disturb) and drip feed personalized image review requests over time. This makes it look natural to Google and helps you turn old customers into fresh 5-star reviews without any additional work. If you have 1,000 previous customers you will just upload them to Get The Edge Services and we will be able to generate around 100-150 new real reviews from your customers over the following weeks.

17. What if someone has already left a review?

If you get a new review while working with Get The Edge Services, we will know what customer has left that review. However, we will not know what customers have left you a review before working with us. You can contact us and we can manually remove people who may have already left a review. However, Google loves updated reviews right now. So getting old customers to update their reviews can be incredibly valuable too. When a customer leaves a review through our service, we will no longer message them.

If there are any people that you do not want to ask for a review, you can mark them as "Do Not Disturb" and send that list to us for your account.

18. What is a personalized image review request?

Instead of just sending a boring text that gets ignored, we send a personalize image of you (or your people or your business front), and your customer's Name on the image. This really increase the likelihood of them actually responding!

19. Do you have review widgets, and what is that?

Yes!

A review widget is a small snippet of code you can add to your website to display your latest Google reviews automatically. We like to select the 5 star ones. It's great for building trust and can turn more website visitors into customers.

20. Do you do reviews on Yelp, Facebook, and other platforms?

Right now, we focus on Google reviews, since they have the biggest impact on local rankings and generating new customers. We plan to do these in the future: Facebook, Yelp, and other review platforms.
